Qualitative identification of 10 animal species
Description
Identification of animal species included in the PBJSP package in pure and mixed samples
Cannot be ordered individually.
The quality test is applied to processed foods, such as prepared meals, protein powders, trace samples and feed to determine the animal source from which it was produced.
The real-time PCR test is highly specific and is used for species identification in clean and mixed samples. It can be ordered exclusively as a PBJSP package.
The package includes identification of the following 10 animal species:
- Red deer (Cervus elaphus)
- European fallow deer (Dama dama)
- Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus)
- Reindeer (Rangifer tarandus)
- European hare (Lepus europaeus)
- European wildcat (Felis silvestris sp.)
- Ostrich (Struthio camelus)
- Greylag goose (Anser sp.)
- Pheasant (Phasianus sp.)
- Wolf (Canis lupus sp.)
For highly processed foods or trace samples, we cannot guarantee successful analysis. This depends on the level of processing of the material and the degree of DNA degradation. However, we have extensive experience in trace DNA analysis and species determination in food and feed samples.
