Instructions for packing samples for courier transport

PLEASE NOTE: A printed order confirmation must be provided along with the samples. 

Kit contents:

• Styrofoam box measuring 40x28x60cm
• Styrofoam box measuring 21x21x9cm
• 4-8 cooling cartridges
• Bubble wrap
• Electronic temperature logger 

1. After receiving the kit described above, place the cooling cartridges in the freezer until they freeze.
2. Inform us by e-mail when you want to send the package with the samples.
3. Place the samples in a black Styrofoam box:

• If the samples are fragile or at risk of damage, wrap them additionally in bubble wrap;
• Place smears additionally in a separate small Styrofoam box. Use bubble wrap if necessary. Then place the small Styrofoam box in the black Styrofoam box;

4. Spread the cooling cartridges evenly in the black Styrofoam box.

4. Take the temperature logger out of the box, start it up according to the instruction manual provided with it, place it back in the box and put it back into the black Styrofoam box near the center of its interior.
5. Fill in the form for operating the temperature logger and place it in the black Styrofoam box.
6. Fill in the empty spaces in the black Styrofoam box with the remaining bubble wrap, or any other fillers you have.

4. Seal the Styrofoam box with packing tape.

4. You receive a waybill back in our e-mail, which you should print and stick on top of the black Styrofoam box or give to the courier.
